Our History

VIP opened its first location February, 1st, 1981 on 8th and Cranberry Street in Erie, PA. An expantion was needed to facilitate our growing customer base, so in May, 1981 VIP opened a second location at the K-Mart Plaza East in Harborcreek. In 1989, VIP needed to expand once again, and so we moved in to the Millcreek Square. During that time, the Millcreek Square location housed our monogramming operation and provided another drop-off location for our customers. With another expansion in 1993, we opened our 29th and State Street location. In September of 1998, we consolidated our production operations in to one facility located at 1215 Powell Avenue. As we had adequate space for all of our operations at the Powell Avenue location, we decided to close the other locations, except for the one on State Street.

VIP currently offers two locations for all of your laundry and dry cleaning needs; one at 29th and State Street, as well as our main facility at 1215 Powell Avenue. From the very beginning, we have offered pick-up and delivery service to our customers; either to their home or to their place of business. Our rental services were added as a product of our expansion. We also service the medical profession with gowns, draw sheets, surgical towels, and more. VIP Laundry & Dry Cleaning is a Pennsylvania company, and was incorporated in 1984.
